To correspond with Oberon Day (now a state of Michigan official holiday), Dream Scene created this mural at Bell’s Eccentric Café in March of 2022 featuring the Oberon sun.

In Spring 2021, Dream Scene Placemaking created a large-scale mural for Bell’s Eccentric Cafe’ in Downtown Kalamazoo. The imagery reflects the brewing process, and is on the side of the building where beer is made for the downtown cafe location.

In Summer of 2021, Dream Scene painted the block building at Vicksburg Recreation Area in the Village of Vicksburg.

Hand-painted signage for the fabulous Vintage in the Zoo events in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids!

Dream Scene brightened up this midcentury modern front door for the headquarters of local Vintage superstar, Golden Rollerskate!

In Spring 2021, Dream Scene worked with the City of Bridgman to paint the ranger station, ticket booth, and signage at Weko Beach along the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan.

Dream Scene Placemaking painted the text “We’re All in this Together” as a part of a January 2021 collaborative mural project “Mask Up Miami” in the Wynwood district of Miami, Florida. This project was made possible by Pinnacle Housing and Kyle Holbrook, MLK Mural project.

In December 2020, Dream Scene created hand-painted signage and mural art for a temporary activation of a vacant space. This event was called Otra Casa, and was a collaboration between Casa Lu, Casa Equis, and Acre Mexico. Galleries were set up in the space to feature the work of a group of contemporary artists in Mexico City.

In November of 2020, Dream Scene was invited to create a mural for the Casa Lu artist residency in Mexico City, Mexico.

During Summer 2020, Dream Scene worked with the Vine Neighborhood Association to re-paint the exterior of the Central Corners building. Central Corners is home to the VNA offices as well as Bagel Beanery, Satellite Records, Nova Virtual Reality, Jbird Vintage, Sway Salon, Barbershop at Vine. We were grateful to paint alongside of so many other amazing murals, right in our neighborhood.

In Spring 2020, Dream Scene contributed this mural to the Vicksburg Mill’s celebration of the 2020 Graduating Class. As the pandemic prevented traditional ceremonies, this gave graduates a chance to celebrate outdoors.

In Spring 2020, Fruit of the Vine Community Garden invited Dream Scene to create a tree on the fence for ceramic birds to live on.

In December of 2019, Dream Scene worked with Vintage in the Zoo to create a fun photo backdrop and other decorative painting accents for their Holiday Pop-Up market on the Kalamazoo Mall.

In Spring 2019, Dream Scene worked with City of Kalamazoo Parks and Recreation to reimagine the exterior of the Kik Pool bathhouse. Bright colors energized this community asset in Upjohn Park.

The Youth Development Center is home to City of Kalamazoo Parks and Recreation’s amazing free summer camps and other programming. Dream Scene Placemaking was grateful to give this building a new sunny paint job this summer, for the 2020 camp season.

In Spring 2020, Dream Scene returned to the City of Kalamazoo Kik Pool to update painting in the locker rooms and showers and bring the colors of the exterior mural inside the building.

In Spring of 2019, Dream Scene traveled to Heraklion, Crete (Greece) to participate in the mural-focused Lakkos Artists Residency.
